Hanshi McCarthy was at our very own Central London-based dojo (UCL KU Club) on Wed June the 2nd (2010) to deliver an inspiring evening seminar at a fully booked dojo at the UCL Bloomsbury Fitness gym.
McCarthy sensei generously shared his expertise on technical, historical and philosophical topics and all participants regardless style or grade effortlessly mixed together to work on common principles through the so-called Kume drills.
My special thanks goes out to everyone from outside our club that attended among which participants from the Chiswick dojo, Seido, Enfield and Nisen Karate clubs and the Yamaguch Goju Kai including Johan san from Sweden, Middlesex Uni, Shidoin Andy, Alan san etc. (there we’re more sorry if I missed you…).
Thanks as well our club members that helped out on the day Edina san and David san.
Very special thanks to UKA Shidoin Barbara Sotowicz for providing us the dojo for the evening and to Yogi from Bloomsbury Fitness for supporting the event!
The event would not have happened without all your support…
Cheers!
