The S.P.A.C.E summer camp Karate class took place on August the 13th in Hackney, East London. With 49 children attending it was probably one of the largest classes we delivered a session to so far in the London area (see photo).

Old-school Karate drills which include punches, strikes, knee thrusts and other basic ‘impact’ techniques (referred to as heishu-waza)were covered over 2 hours of training.

A special thanks out to Stephen and all of those assisting and attending the session as well as to  David-san from the UCL Koryu Uchinadi Club who came along to assist to teach the class.
